These CDs actually demonstrate a noticeable difference. The 35DP-18 matrix is an early Japan pressing. It is also on the short list of CDs that have pre-emphasis encoding. If you play ripped files from the Japan CD without the proper de-emphasis coding, the music is extremely thin and tinny.
