I have additional stuff

If you found an entry for an album you have, but the waveform isn’t the same as what you have, and especially if the matrix number of your CD is different, you can comment on the album post itself – that will provide me with context.  In the comment, include the differing information (catalog number, barcode, matrix number) and a link to download the waveform data file.  The waveform data is the file generated by the CDWaveform utility.

What I’ll do is download the waveform data file, create new images with the new data included, update the post with the new info (giving credit where credit is due), then delete the original comment.

I have new stuff

If you have multiple pressings of an album and want to submit the differences, comment on this page.  In the comment, include the new album information (catalog number, barcode, matrix numbers) and links to download each of the waveform data files.  The waveform data is the file generated by the CDWaveform utility.

What I’ll do is download the waveform data files, create images, create a new post with your submitted info (giving credit where credit is due), then delete the original comment.

I have opinions

Opinions are good.  While I’m trying to expose when different pressing are good or bad, sometimes, they are just different.  Then it becomes a matter of taste.  If you have experience with an album, leave a comment with your thoughts on the sound quality of an album.  You can help other make better purchases and you can help provide more context to a simple waveform.
