This CD replacement was also predicated on the smooth-sided case it came in. When I opened the case up, I was pleased to find it was a Japan pressing. For some reason these matrix codes on these early CDs (U7C14) require a loupe to read and look like they were scratched in with a needle. It looks like the mastering remained intact between the manufacturing plants. Although it’s not maxed out at 100%, it looks like there may be some clipping in the 2nd to last track. Also, it’s interesting the 3rd track has different cut points.
