In another case of buying a suspected worse version simply for the comparative experience, I picked up ELP’s Works Vol 2 from a thrift shop for $1. The new version is the Victory remaster. Interestingly, the reissue is pretty faithful to the original, and strangely, the last song is actually more quiet than my old copy.
